St. Mary's Legacy Foundation of East TN
The St. Mary’s Legacy Foundation of East Tennessee was formed in 2011 to continue supporting the ministry begun by the Sisters of Mercy with the opening of St. Mary’s Hospital in 1930. St. Mary’s Legacy Clinic is very grateful to the St. Mary’s Legacy foundation for the purchase of our new vehicle as well as our ongoing operating expenses.

Diocese of Knoxville
The Diocese of Knoxville has been a generous supporter of St. Mary's Legacy Clinic since its inception. The DOK supports our clinic with a grant from the annual Bishop's Appeal as well as a Second Collection. They also very graciously provide administrative office spaces for our staff and volunteers.

Cathedral of The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus
The Cathedral of The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus continues to be a generous sponsor for St. Mary's Legacy Clinic. Many parishioners are also active volunteers with us, donating their time, skills, and heart to help us extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ in East Tennessee.

Smith Family Foundation
The Smith Family Foundation has been a generous and consistent supporter of St. Mary's Legacy Clinic, both in their grant funding as well as with gifts of service and in-kind donations. We are truly grateful for all of the ways that the Smith Family continues to support our mission.

Catholic Extension Society
The Catholic Extension Society is committed to building up Catholic Faith communities in rural America. They have been generous supporters of St. Mary's Legacy Clinic for the past 4 years. In 2024, they honored our Medical Director with thier prestigious Lumen Cristi award for her service and dedication to the patients that we serve.

Cumberland Medical Center
In 2025 and 2026, Cumberland Medical Center has awarded us a grant for operating expenses as well as offered us a discount on imaging services for our Cumberland County patients. We look forward to cultivating this impactful relationship further.

American Cancer Society
The American Cancer Society has supported St. Mary's Legacy Clinic for the last two years with grants to increase our patient screenings for both colorectal cancer and cervical cancer. These tests can be lifesaving for our patients and we are so grateful to the American Cancer Society for thier help in these screening efforts.

State of Tennessee
St. Mary's Legacy Clinic is funded in part by a grant from the Safety Net Program. This program is offered through the State of Tennessee and helps cover operating expenses as well as the costs of services for adults without insurance.

Tennessee Healthcare Workers Development Center
The Tennessee Healthcare Workers Development Center aims to recruit and retain healthcare professionals in rural Tennessee. They have provided St. Mary's Legacy Clinic with a grant that covers the cost of Malpractice Insurance for our Medical Director and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
